Maharashtra Police Act 1951
Section 149A :
1.[Penalty for an unauthorised use of Police uniform :
If any person not being a member of the Police Force, wears, without the permission of an officer authorised by the State Government in this behalf by a general or special order for any area 2.[in the 3.[State of Maharashtra] ] the uniform of the Police Force or any dress having the appearance or bearing any of the distinctive marks of that uniform, he shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to 4.[two thousand rupees].]
