Maharashtra Police Act 1951
Section 77 :
Animal to be dealt with under 1.[Act LIX of 1960] :
When under section 74 a Police Officer directs that an animal shall be sent for detention in a dispensary or any suitable place before its production before a Magistrate or under section 74 a Magistrate directs that an animal shall be sent for treatment and care to an infirmary and be detained therein the provisions of 2.[section 35] of the said Act, shall, so far as may be, apply.
