Section 125 :
Act endangering life or personal safety of others :

Classification of Offence:
Offence : Doing any act endangering human life or personal safety of others.
Punishment : Imprisonment for 3 months, or fine of 2500 rupees, or both.
Cognizable or Non-cognizable : Cognizable
Bailable or Non-bailable : Bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : Non-compoundable
By Which Court Triable : Any Magistrate.

Offence : where the hurt is caused.
Punishment : Imprisonment for six months, or fine of 5000 rupees, or both.
Cognizable or Non-cognizable : Cognizable
Bailable or Non-bailable : Bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : The person to whom hurt is caused.
By Which Court Triable : Any Magistrate.

Classification of Offence:
Offence : where grievous hurt is caused.
Punishment : Imprisonment for three years, or fine of 10000 rupees, or both.
Cognizable or Non-cognizable : Cognizable
Bailable or Non-bailable : Bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : The person to whom hurt is caused.
By Which Court Triable : Any Magistrate.

Whoever does any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life or the personal safety of others, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to two thousand five hundred rupees, or with both, but—
(a) where hurt is caused, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both;
(b) where grievous hurt is caused, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, or with both.

Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others:

Offence: Causing hurt by an act which endangers human life, etc.
Punishment :Imprisonment for 6 months, or fine of 500 rupees, or both.
Cognizable or Non-cognizable : Cognizable
Bailable or Non-bailable : Bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : The person to whom hurt is caused.
By Which Court Triable : Any Magistrate.

Punishment : Imprisonment for 2 years, or fine of 1000 rupees, or both.
Cognizable or Non-cognizable : Cognizable
Bailable or Non-bailable : Bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : The person to whom hurt is caused.
By Which Court Triable : Any Magistrate.
