Import or export of counterfeits of the Indian coin:

Offence: Import or export of counterfeit of Indian coin, knowing the same to be counterfeit.
Punishment :Imprisonment for life, or imprisonment for 10 years and fine.

Compoundable or Non-compoundable : Non-compoundable
By Which Court Triable :Court of Session.

Whoever imports into 1.[India], or export there from, any counterfeit coin, which he knows or has reason to believe to be counterfeit of 2.[Indian coin], shall be punished with 3.[imprisonment for life], or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
