Offence: House-trespass in order to the commission of an offence punishable with imprisonment.
Punishment :Imprisonment for 2 years and fine.
Cognizable or Non-cognizable : Cognizable
Bailable or Non-bailable : Bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : The person in possession of the house trespassed upon.
By Which Court Triable :Any Magistrate.

Punishment :Imprisonment for 7 years and fine.

Bailable or Non-bailable : Non-bailable
Compoundable or Non-compoundable : The person in possession of the house trespassed upon.

Whoever commits house-trespass in order to the committing of any offence punishable with imprisonment, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years,
and shall also be liable to fine; and if the offence intended to be committed is theft, the term of the imprisonment may be extended to seven years.
